MyResNet

MyResNet is Pitt’s free high-speed Wi-Fi network in our residence halls. It's capable of accommodating up to seven devices per student, for completing coursework and joining Zoom calls, streaming music and videos, and online gaming. 

Panther Central
Have Questions? Panther Central has Answers!

Panther Central is Pitt’s 24/7 concierge service. Our trained Customer Care Representatives can assist you with your housing and dining inquirers, help you load Panther Funds or replace your Panther Card (Student ID), and answer any other Pitt-related questions that you may have.

Panther Post

Panther Post is Pitt’s student mailing system. Panther Post is centrally located in the lobby of Litchfield Tower B, with satellite locations in various residence halls across campus. Learn more about shipping and receiving mail and packages to and from your on-campus accommodation.

Pitt Mobility offers Pitt students, faculty, and staff a wide variety of options for safely and conveniently navigating our urban campus. Pitt Mobility makes moving around campus - from complimentary after-hours shuttle service via SafeRider to free transportation on Pittsburgh Regional Transit and Pitt Shuttles to vast bike lanes and free, unlimited access to HealthyRideAtPitt!

covid-19 rapid test
Required COVID-19 Test

All students living in University housing – regardless of vaccination status – must take a COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arrival.

  • Tests can be found on your bed.
  • Return your completed test to your building’s RA table, which is located in the lobby of your building from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. on August 20, 21 and 22.  If you do not turn in your test by this deadline, you will not be permitted to participate in Welcome Week activities.

If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days, complete the exemption form by August 17 to be exempted from the arrival test requirement. This information will be entered into your student health record.

If you are part of an early-arrival group, you must test within 48 hours of arriving on campus. Your test must be dropped off at Panther Central.
