As a resident of 2021-2022 University housing, you are required to disclose your Covid-19 status through the Pitt SHS portal by Friday, July 30.
- If you provide proof of vaccination, you will be able to move directly into your on-campus housing accommodation on your assigned date.
- If you do not provide proof of vaccination, you must provide a negative Covid-19 test result in order to move into your housing assignment. You will also be required to shelter in place. To attend in-person events and activities on campus, you will need to comply with additional mitigation measures, such as completing a second Covid-19 test with a negative result 48 hours after arrival on campus. We will provide additional instructions for these tests later this month.
To disclose your Covid-19 vaccination status by Friday, July 30:
- Visit the Pitt SHS portal.
- Select Immunization from the top menu.
- Use the appropriate Covid-19 category listed on the Immunization page to enter your data.
For the health and safety of our Pitt community, the Student Health Service strongly encourages all our students to get the Covid-19 vaccine. It is proven highly effective against severe illness.
ALL ON-CAMPUS RESIDENTS MUST COMPLETE THE SHS FORM BY FRIDAY, JULY 30. You must share your vaccination record or complete an exemption form.
