To help you move in your belongings easily, we offer moving carts. Students are permitted to sign out one cart at a time for one hour. To sign out a cart, go to your Welcome Station and present your Panther Card (student ID), which will be scanned. When you are done with your cart, be sure to return it to your Welcome Station to avoid any charges.
Sunday, August 20 - Tuesday, August 22 ...........9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Thursday, August 24 - Friday, August 25 ........... 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday, August 26 ............................................. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Lothrop upper-class students only)
To ensure the safety of all of our students, we require that all authorized family members and move-in helpers wear a Pitt-issued wristband. Our welcome attendants will ask students to scan their Panther IDs and guests to show their wristbands when they move in and out of our residence halls during Arrival.
Students should accompany all family members and helpers to their assigned Welcome Station (check-in tent), show their Panther ID, and all guests will receive a wristband.
Wristbands are only accepted during scheduled Arrival dates and times. For all other dates and times, guests must be signed in through the welcome attendant.
